In this assignment, you will choose a behavior change assessment technique, technology for changing behavior, or concept related to behavioral economics. Some examples of possible topics include, but are not limited to: functional behavior assessments, token economy, response interruption and redirection, functional analyses, shaping, behavioral contracts, group contingencies, self-management, or behavioral economics applications to public policy. You will describe this procedure and synthesize the current research around the use of this procedure. You will also explain how this technique or process is rooted in the basic theories of behaviorism.

Your assignment should include the following:

· Thorough description of a selected behavior change assessment technique, behavior change procedure, or concept related to behavioral economics. Your choice of topic must be evidence-based and up to date.

· Synthesize current research on the use of the selected technique or behavior change procedure.

· Explain the theoretical underpinnings of the technique or procedure, using supporting references.

Assignment Requirements

· Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message.

· APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to current APA style and formatting guidelines.

· References: At least 6–8 scholarly resources, which should be peer-reviewed journal articles or other scholarly articles written within the past 5 years.

· Length of paper: Approximately 8–10 typed, double-spaced pages, excluding title page and list of references.

· Font and font size: Times New Roman, 12 point.
