Health insurance in the US has helped many people in which the demand increased. The reason is because of the availability of affordable health care that is regulated. The fact is that the increased overall demand for healthcare services has resulted in higher prices. In the US, people tend to get sick and injured all the time, and because of the easier accessibility to health care, it has increased prices and diminishing quality of health care. When health insurance demand is lower, then the low supply of health workers is needed for the minimal inflow of patients or sick people. The supply of health insurance depends on the rate of demand. It is imperative to state that the Affordable Care Act affected the inflow of people and the utilization of health care services.

With increased demand, then it led to providers expanding the hospital service capacity and increase staff to meet increased demanding numbers under ACA. Moreover,  the Affordable Care Act (ACA) increased the number of patients with health insurance, which lead to a greater demand for providers for health care services.
