The emerging adulthood period is a phase that every human being must go through. The period is between eighteen to twenty-five years, and some scholars group them up to twenty-nine years of age. This is the age where an individual is getting to know themselves better. The question of identity starts to come up as one knows starts to explore life as an adult (Manning, 2020). The decisions that the particular individual will make at this period will largely influence their future.

The five models of personality are exciting and essential to know about. They help an individual to understand not only themselves but also others. They include agreeableness, extraversion, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and lastly, openness. The ability to understand the above diverse personality models is quite vital as one gets a glimpse of how to relate and deals with different people.

Fluid intelligence is the intelligence that an individual acquires through education and learning. Crystalized information, on the other hand, is the type of data that one gains from past experiences and incidents. Fluid intelligence, unfortunately, fades away when an individual is in the prime age of their lives, especially in ancient ages. Many old individuals exercise crystallized type intelligence as they use their past experiences to teach and caution others.

Religion is a crucial factor in any person’s life. Unfortunately, many people do not engage in especially young people. Many people tend to run back to religious lines when they are quite ages or at the pic of their lives. They go there to seek social-relational needs in their lives. Various research reports have also shown that women are mostly affiliated with religion due to their mental health nature.

The four age categories of adulthood life are exciting. They break-down the lifecycle of a human being as an adult. The young-old type is the period where an individual is young and vibrant and quite productive in society and enjoys good health. In the old-old age period, an individual is quite mature and lives independently and enjoys fruits of his labor (Tyler, 2020). The oldest-old and individual suffers some ailments and is not entirely healthy due to age issues. Lastly, centenarians are where individuals are ancient and highly dependent on others.

                        The development of an individual over the years, as shown above, is quite impressive. As stated above, one gets a clear picture of how humans evolve and develop over time. The process also adds knowledge and wisdom to an individual about a person’s physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development of others (Lawrence et al., 2017). Lastly, I chose to discuss the development stages of man in various life aspects as it personally adds my scholar knowledge about people.

What Interested Me about the Topic of Development of Man’s Adulthood?

Learning about the development stages of a man interested me a lot. This because one gets to understand the life cycle and steps of human beings at various adulthood levels.
